The Sims 4: Get Together is the second expansion pack for The Sims 4. It was released in North America on December 8, 2015 and it was released in Europe on December 10, 2015.[1] The console version was released on September 11, 2018. It includes a whole new world where Sims can hang out and get together, as well as many new features, such as social clubs, DJ booths, coffee shops, dressing up, and more. It is the spiritual successor of The Sims 2: Nightlife, with some aspects of The Sims: House Party, The Sims: Hot Date, The Sims 2: FreeTime, The Sims 3: Late Night, The Sims 3: Showtime and The Sims 3: University Life.

The Sims 4: Get Together is the second expansion pack released for The Sims 4 franchise, released on December 7, 2015. This expansion focuses on giving Sims more ways to interact and socialize with one another, such as participating in group activities and clubs, hosting meet-ups, and enjoying their lives to the fullest with a group of friends. Get Together brings new game-play features and objects to the game, offering more ways for Sims to get together and engage in meaningful social interactions.
With so many rewards available, players can find something to suit their individual needs. Club Perks can be redeemed with a certain amount of Club Points, which are easy to gain by participating in activities listed for the club during a gathering. Activities that award points will have a green thumbs up icon beside their name, making it clear which activities should be focused on. Moreover, the sims will not lose any points for engaging in restricted activities.
The tasks in each step are relatively easy and can be achieved quickly if players focus on exploring what clubs have to offer. Having Insider and Outgoing traits can also be helpful while completing this aspiration. The reward trait of this aspiration is the natural leader trait which will help Sims earn club points faster to upgrade the perks of the club. These sims will also have an easier time overthrowing other club leaders.

Espresso machine products can be stored in your Sim's Inventory or their refrigerator until you're ready to drink them, though you usually have to cancel the action then drag it as the Sim will start drinking it right away.Walk-in ClosetsSims can woohoo in these closets, which are meant for changing clothes. Additionally, you can plan outfits, kids can play, or Sims can cry inside them to relieve the embarrassed moodlet. There are a few varieties other than the one pictured.Build Mode AdditionsGet Together adds a whopping 200+ items to build with, and I know that's going to please a lot of people. There's a lot of european decor, but also things you can use to make modern-looking nightclubs. Here is but a sample of the items you can make, kind of cluttered together but you'll be able to use your imagination as far as what you can do with it!
You can use club gatherings as a way to force sims to tend your garden, clean your house, paint masterpieces for you to sell, and more. You can also ensure club members wear the same outfits and gather in the same place. It can also be used to make sure household members travel together more easily or to encourage specific relationship types.
Get Together also introduces dancing and DJ skills. Sims can buy a small and thrown together looking set of decks and start practicing at home. The DJ skill is a five-level skill and sims can also choose to show their skills in public.
Nightclubs allow sims to take over the decks and DJ for tips, and if you have Get Famous you'll also gain fame. The higher the skill level the more your sims can make. There's no structured career but skilled sims can easily supplement their income and enjoy the process.
Traditions are the main core feature of holidays and they come in various forms.[35] Each holiday can have up to 5 different traditions and they determine how a holiday is celebrated. The traditions vary from eating a grand meal to partying, appreciating things and singing together. Each holiday can be assigned a decoration theme, which will allow the current household to choose from appropriate decorations to place on the outside of their house, via the "Attic Shack Decoration Box" (which can be bought in build mode).[35] Neighboring houses will automatically be decorated when a holiday starts, unless the theme is set to "None".
The Sims 4: Discover University is the eighth expansion pack, released on November 15, 2019. It adds two new educational institutions: the University of Britechester and the Foxbury Institute, in a new world called Britechester and allows sims to attend university and earn degrees.[45][46] The pack uses elements from The Sims 2: University and The Sims 3: University Life.
Get Together is the second expansion pack in The Sims 4. Naturally, it focuses on ways to get your Sims together. It does so by by adding clubs and by adding the dance and DJ traits, the world of Windenburg, and a wide assortment of new Create-a-Sim and build-mode items. On the surface, the new content doesn't appear to contain as much as the previous expansion pack, Get to Work. But, to my surprise, the clubs introduced in Get Together add a great deal more than I first thought.
Beyond customizing your own clubs, the major gameplay feature introduced is the ability to instantly begin and end gatherings. A single button press from the clubs menu enables players to have all their club members instantly join them at either the designated club hangout or their current location. The gather feature, in combination with numerous objects that now having a "together" option, make both gathering and performing activities together the easiest it has ever been in the history of the Sims franchise. No longer do players have to individually click on various Sims to join them in a hot tub. Now, all it involves is clicking the "get into hot tub together" option on the object, and the game does the rest for you.
The only element that's keeping Get Together from being the perfect expansion pack is a somewhat lacking collection of new Create a Sim and build mode items. While the new items are worthy additions to the overall game, I was hoping for a greater number and variety. Compared to the Get to Work expansion, I've had a much more entertaining time with Get Together, mainly for its focus on improving the core gameplay experience of gathering Sims together and performing activities. In addition, the dance and DJ traits are fun to learn and even more entertaining to use in group settings. Lastly, the new world of Windenburg is the perfect place to move to for players that have been getting tired of their current house location and are in need of some place with more visual variety.
The Sims 4 Get Together follows Get to Work's trend of providing both worthwhile and entertaining content. Get Together goes a step further, however, by improving the core gameplay experience of gathering Sims together with the new clubs feature. In addition, the new dance and DJ traits and world of Windenburg round off a great package of content.
